What is Luau?
Luau is a High end programming language implemented by Roblox Corporation in 2019, it is based on Lua 5.1 and it's optimised for performance and error-handling making it well suited for Roblox Game creation
There aren't very many differences between Lua and Luau syntax, however Luau is designed to simplify coding while supporting object-oriented programming and complex game mechanicsÂ
Course overview:
The course is completely free and is structured in 3 main parts for now, Scripting and Modelling and API
Scripting lessons are named S-1, S-2, S-3 and so on, in detail lessons will be named S-1.1, S1.2 etc
Modelling lessons have the prefix M
API (Roblox-specific game creation tools) lessons have the prefix A
